* Details: scratches and marks all over the leather, enhanced by sandpaper work; rusty buttons, visible signs of wear. Customized with sandpaper, leather paint and metal screws. Piece with a destroyed look.  

BIO

Found as trash, turned into something new. That could be the epitaph of this biker jacket, but luckily it is not dead yet. It was covered in dirt, with many rusty stains and signs of wear when it was found, but I truly believe that real upcycling, rework, custom, call it what you want, should be about recovering pieces that are still usable. And I'm not here for the sustainable talk, I just think that there's gold lost in what many call trash, and some of it is better and worthy than a brand new piece of plastic with a pretty tag. Since this piece wasn't in its best days already, it was heavily customized with sandpaper to standardize the scratches, painted with leather ink to cover all the stains on the back with a skulls illustration, and decorated with two inox screws on the back of its collar — the Hälfex's Bite. Now it is cleaned, hydrated and "destroyed" into a new life. Special price because it was a learning experience for our project.
